Disaster preparedness
When the disaster strikes, whether it be natural disasters or conflicts, emergency preparedness extends.
As part of the disaster preparedness, you are available for immediate dispatch. You are typically sent out for three to six months at a time and receive pay during the broadcast.
Being part of the disaster preparedness is not a permanent position and our delegates typically have work where they have a flexible agreement with their employer. The Red Cross does not send volunteers to international work.
