The Danish Red Cross is certified against the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) for our humanitarian mandate. This a key frame of reference in the work DRC undertakes to strengthen our overall compliance - from operational issues to handling and responding to integrity issues.

The CHS sets out Nine Commitments that organisations and individuals involved in humanitarian response can use to improve the quality and effectiveness of the assistance they provide. As a core standard, the CHS describes the essential elements of principled, accountable and high-quality humanitarian aid.
