Developing lasting and impactful solutions to the complex crises we face require the engagement of many actors from the civil society. The private sector plays an essential part in supporting Danish Red Cross designing, developing and implementing solutions that help us reaching to the most vulnerable people. DRC make use of a wide range of modalities for private sector engagement in humanitarian action. In addition to providing finance, companies can support our work with technical assistance, expertise within for instance health or climate, technologies, logistics and people.

We are very eager to explore new ways of financing our work as well as maximizing our impact. We are therefore working with banks, insurance companies, DFI, and private investors to rethink and adapt financial tools to humanitarian contexts.
